Make Thousands Having Simply A Couple Clicks
In our last issue of Facebook for Business, we talked about making use of ads on Facebook to increase your sales. In this issue we are going to talk about social media management for improved search engine rankings and traffic.
There have been reports coming out that Facebook draws in more traffic than Google Ads and other traffic-sending tools. Whether this is true or not, it’s not surprising to know that many other marketers are jumping in the bandwagon to try out Facebook marketing for themselves also because this way is a lot inexpensive and much simpler to set up.
Give some thought to these tips on how to get relevant traffic from Google right to your Facebook business page.
- Back Link. Back Link. Back Link.
There are several ways you can lead the consumer back to your Facebook page. This is just one among the many advantages of using Facebook. The more Likes that you have which totals to acquiring more Fans, the more links lead back to your Page. This is also known as on-site optimization.
The offsite way is to build links using other websites such as your official website, article directories, other social networking sites, email signatures and stuff like that. Article submission is one of the cheapest, yet most helpful ways to build backlinks. Furthermore, they can offer helpful information for your present and potential clients as well.
- Use A Professional Business Name
While it’s good to be innovative with your profile and updates, the same does not follow for your Facebook name. The key here is to make sure your business is searchable at Facebook. This maximizes your target keywords better. Be sure that your business name doesn’t come with too much hoopla. In some cases, you might also need to separate yourself from another similar business name. For instance, if your business name is Jonathan’s Fruits Shakes, and there’s another business name that sounds similar, why not consider changing yours into “Jonathan’s Healthy Fruit Shakes”
You should also do the same for URL’s. This is a relatively innovative addition to Facebook features supposedly placed to make the searching for your Fan page easier. Again, don’t try to be too zany or creative. Consider going for facebook.com/jeremiahfruitshakes. This is pretty direct.
- Complete your Profile
What can be a more important aspect than your landing page on Facebook? From here, customers will decide whether they want to read on and explore the other parts of your profile or not. With this, it’s crucial that your profile is complete with all the necessary details. This is also your chance to use a bit of your creative side. It would be best if you come up with some eye-catching content.
Make sure you place keyword rich content in your landing page. Aim to place in words that are most searchable in your industry, so Google and other search engines can easily pick them up. Also, take advantage of customer feedback or testimonials as these will help you attract more prospects. This is a great way to build your reputation within the industry.
It is not suggested though, with all the advantages that Facebook has in case you were thinking of such action, to use the Fan or Business Page in lieu of an official website. At most, a Facebook page is just a great addition to any business website because it acts as a community among prospective customers and clients alike.
